This site exists to explain AEGIS, a privacy-respecting developer tool — so the site holds itself to the same standard. The short version: the only personal data we handle here is the email address you choose to give us.
What we collect
- Early-access email (optional). If you join the list we store your email address, your consent choice, the time, and any UTM campaign tags in the address bar when you signed up. That's the lot.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party scripts of any kind.
- Server logs. Our reverse proxy keeps standard, short-lived technical logs (IP, path, status) for security and abuse prevention.
How it's stored and used
- Signups are written to a private file on our own server (UK-hosted VPS) — not to a marketing SaaS.
- We use your email for exactly what the form says: one message when early access opens, plus the occasional engineering note if you ticked the box. Unsubscribe is one click or one reply.
- We never sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.
Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@consultancyinaction.com and we'll action it promptly — there's no form, a human reads it.
The tool itself
AEGIS (the product this site describes) is local-first by design: run with a local model, your code and prompts never leave your machine, and the tamper-evident ledger exists so you can verify that claim rather than take our word for it. The product's own data handling is documented in the product, not here.
